Clover being only a little bit tired! I love the last picture, he’s sticking out his tongue! :p
We finally got to go to the farmers market! :) We got to taste this Wow Wow ‘Aloha’ lemonade! I got the strawberry lemonade, my mom got pineapple li hing and my sister got the Classic!!
[Li hing mui is salty dried plum. It has a strong, distinctive flavor, and is often said to be an acquired taste, as it has a combination of sweet, sour, and salty taste. It has also been described as tart, and even tangy. Li hing (redpowder) was found in Hawaii The red powder called li hing powder consists of ground up-plum skin that has previously been pickled in a combination of licorice, sometimes, but not always aspartame, food coloring, salt, and sugar. Li hing powder is sold separately and can be used as a flavoring usually sprinkled on candy and other fruits notablypineapples and apples. In the United States Li hing mui powder can be found in Hawaii, where local children like to put li hing powder on sour gummy bears, sour gummy worms, sour watermelon candy, sour patch kids, shave ice, sour apple candy, rock candy, popcorn, and arare (also known as kakimochi and mochi crunch). – Wikipedia]
I liked my sisters one so much more, mine was super sour, and I was too scared to taste my mom’s one! To be honest, this drink was only for the mason jar, there really isn’t anything super special about the lemonade. The mason jar is cute and the sticker is even more cute.
Later since my sister was going out we got to eat out! We went to Kim Chee II! My all time favorite place! They make the best shrimp tempura! I was so shocked that the food was the same! Their consistency is amazing! Even if the price get a little bit higher every time we go, we always know what we are going to get!
